Scenario #1 The Double-Cross

The Double-cross:

The air was thick with ash and tension. Your gang arrived early, weapons holstered, creds ready—just a routine deal in a dead dome. But as the contact stepped into the open, the shadows moved, and muzzle flashes lit the ruins. Someone sold you out. Maybe it was the contact. Maybe it was the Guild. Doesn’t matter now. You’re pinned, the deal’s off, and survival is the only item left on the table. Grab what you can, fight your way clear, and pray the ambushers weren’t expecting you to shoot back. Welcome to Boomtown. Trust no one.

BATTLEFIELD TYPE
This scenario is an Underhive battle; vehicles and Wargear that grant the Mounted condition cannot be included in either gang’s starting crew.

BATTLEFIELD
Standard. 4x4 board.

Place one Objective Token in the center of the board on ground level. It is the meeting point for your deal. A Loot Crate is there.

CREWS
Custom Selection (10).

TACTICS CARDS
2 each

DEPLOYMENT
Attacker and Defender
In this scenario, one gang is the attacker and the other is the defender. If this scenario is being played as part of a campaign, then the gang that issued the challenge is the attacker; otherwise, roll off with the winner deciding whether they will attack or defend.

The Defending Gang deploys all their fighters within 12" of the center Loot Token.

The Attacker randomly comes in on one of the 4 board edges (roll a d6, ignoring 5 and 6).

ENDING THE BATTLE
The battle ends when only one gang has Standing fighters remaining at the end of any End phase.

VICTORY
The gang with at least 1 Standing fighter at the end of the battle is the winner.

REWARDS
SPECIAL EFFECT
If this was the first time these two gangs met in combat, the leaders of each gang now have a grudge against each other. Future battles, the gangs will have a Grudge Rating* of 1 towards each other.

CREDITS
The loot crate, now abandoned by the merchant, is worth D6x10 to the winner

EXPERIENCE
Scenario specific rewards:

+1 XP for taking part.
+1 to each fighter still Standing at the end of the battle.

REPUTATION
+2 for winning. -1 for losing (cannot drop below 1).

+1 to both gangs if this was the first battle against each other.
